Hii!
So, I had a great weekend! Saturdaynight I went out, and it didn't start very well. I didn't have my ID on me. And they wouldn't let me in. And is a 20 minute walk from my apartment to this particular bar. It sucked. I didn't want to have a 40 minute walk, so I took a taxi. When I got back, they let me in and the bartender reconized me, and he was really nice. He said he'd help me to get to know some people, but he was really busy. Then one girl walked over, she saw what happened at the door with my ID and stuff, she was really nice. After half an hour she came up to me again to ask if I was alone. I said Yes, and she asked me to join her and her friends. (Martina, Rob, Raoul and Siobhan) They were really nice! Later that evening I met another friend of them, April, and she was really cool. We talked a lot about so many things, that by the time the pub closed, she walked home with me so we could talk more. When it was 5 in the morning we decided she should stay over. The next day, Sunday, Jeroen came over. He's a Dutch friends of mine, but he lives in Dublin for now. So the thee of us had breakfast. April had to go home after that, Jeroen and I walked around town, we've practically seen every church in Cork :)
Later we went to have dinner in a really cute Italian restaurant. Had a fun day!
This morning was a disaster, though. I would be my first day at school, but for some reason my alarmclock didn't go off. So when I woke up I checked the time on my phone...12 o'clock. I was in shock, really! I mean, somehow I managed to miss my first day at school! So I tried to call the school, but they didn't pick up. I was devistated! I decided to go there to appologise, try to fix things, so I quickly got som clothes and ran out of my room. Where I heard a shower. That was kind of weird, because my housemate usually doesn't come home that early. So I checked the time on the tv, and it actually was 7.30in the morning. God, what a relief that was!
So I had breakfast and we walked to school. We had to do a test to find out what level we were. God, that was the easiest test ever. Serously. I'm pretty sure I had all the good answers.
So, later, we got to class.I'm in the top class, yay! My teacher is really, really nice! There's only 4 students in this class. The woman who sat next to me, Marta, is from Spain. She travelled all around the world, it's so cool! I had lunch with her and her brother, and she asked me to go to a concert with them tonight, but unfortunately, it's sold out. My one-on-one afternoon class was really nice as well, my teacher, Maeve, is still very young, 27, so we mostly had a nice chat. Tomorrow she's gonna teach me about Irish history :)
I forgot to take my camera-cable with my, so I still didn't upload my pics. I willl, though, I promiss! Take care, x
